ETEKINA is aiming to recover more than 40% of the waste heat stream in energy intensive industries. The project is based on heat pipe technology and is currently being tested on three demo sites. Each unit has an ROI of less than three years.

ESCI's role in the project:

ESCI is leading the communication and dissemination actions, liaising closely with Brunel University  in London, who is the project’s exploitation leader. For the ETEKINA project, ESCI is experimenting with a number of innovative tools that included lenticular bookmarks and postcards and the multi-media storytelling tool Pageflow.
